North Korea launches missile supposedly for putting up a satellite
North Korean missile launch
The article basically speaks for itself.
Quick summary: The article talks about Japan, South Korea and the United States warning Pyongyang from launching any missiles because they claim it's violating a ban issued in 2006. N. Korea claims the missile is to put a satellite into the air.

A few informative Dr. Mercola Articles
Please note: I have come to realize that Mercola articles are not fully viewable without a free account. I would encourage those that are interested in articles such as the ones below to sign up for a free account.
The above link regards avoiding flu shots by taking vitamin D orally. There should be a video at the top. Mercola also discourages the use of flu shots, saying that most of them have things in them that you don't want to be putting in your body. Another very important distinction brought to a viewer's attention is that people die more from pneumonia, rather than the flu itself.

This article linked to directly above, regards High Fructose Corn Syrup, yet again. The article discusses studies done by companies to debate the negative effects of HFCS basically saying that it is "okay in moderation." Mercola says otherwise. If you want more information, the fourth link on this post shall tell you about a technique used to stop addiction to soft drinks (which have HFCS), if that is something you are struggling with. I have also previously reported on HFCS, so if you missed out on those, please review the archives of this blog for the other article(s).

The name of this article pretty much speaks for itself: "Simple change could reduce obesity in U.S. by 20 percent." This article talks about advertising during children tv programs, and its connection to obesity in children.
This article is about the power & benefit of music on the human body, particularly when doing exercise (like running in a marathon.)
Turbo tapping is a form of EFT (explanation is within the article) used to help a person stop an addiction; particularly in this case, soft drinks. This method doesn't cost you a dime, supposedly.

Lincoln photo recovered?
Link
From yahoo news. I happened to see this article when I was on yahoo.com (Wasn't even searching for anything on yahoo.) Rather interesting article about, perhaps, the last taken photograph of Abraham Lincoln.

Sleep Problems? Maybe this page can help.
http://www.medicinenet.com/sleep/article.htm
I found this link thanks to the book "What Color is Your Parachute? 2009", by Richard Nelson Bolles. This page "Your Guide to Healthy Sleep," as it says at the top of this article. Thought I would share it, could be beneficial to you. I know it's definitely something that I should be looking into.

Is your printer really out of ink?
How deceptive. Printer companies *may* (notice I said may not will) be ripping you off, making you buy a new cartridge for your ink-jet when you really don't need one just yet. That is, your printer may read "empty" for your ink cartridge, when in actuality there is still quite a bit left over to use.

Industrial toxin, melamine
The above is a link to an article about something called melamine. Check it out. I hope it is useful. Just another one of those shocking eye-openers.

Images you probably think were "photoshopped" or otherwise doctored
15 images you will not believe aren't photoshopped
15 MORE images...
I didn't really believe these were real until I saw the original links the person posted along with these pictures. Number 6 (from 15 more images) I thought was for sure "photoshopped", but if you watch on the youtube video you'll see that it isn't fake. Well, for those of you who have already seen the bird before... well nevermind then. Nothing to see here.

Mutant/Unexplained "powers?"
Mutants? Super Powers?
Interesting article I found thanks to someone on my facebook. I don't much care for the the way the person wrote the article but it's an interesting article nonetheless. I particularly like the one about the Swiss man who's got a jet pack. Pretty awesome!

Lack of a good night's sleep causing memory loss? Other problems?
Circadian Clock, memory, and sleep
I found this Dr. Mercola article talking about getting good sleep and how if you don't get enough sleep, this can cause you to forget stuff you learned the previous day. There's also some great links in this article, so if you're curious about it, check 'em out. If you find this article useful, I would forward it to people you know, especially if you know they are having problems with sleeping or with too much GABA, etcetera, etcetera. There's also other information too, it's not just about memory loss.

High Fructose Corn Syrup a hurtful substance?
Well I've got a lot of information here for those that care to be informed about foods with HFCS. High Fructose Corn Syrup has been around since at least the 1970's, and is not something that should be in our food or in our drinks. I did a research paper on HFCS for college, and I've heard so much about it, that no amount of media tricks will fool me into believing that it's safe to use. Which leads me to this article below by Dr. Mercola:
Mercola Article on Media Brainwashing about high fructose corn syrup
Now is as good a time as any, so I feel that I should share my research along with my research paper in PDF form. Please do not steal my paper and claim it as your own! Here it is:
